Welcome to Ackton Pastures Primary Academy!

“Children at the heart; Inspiring Futures

Ackton Pastures is a community school with a big heart, that does all it can for the community it serves. As part of the Inspire Partnership Multi-Academy Trust, we pride ourselves on providing an exciting and enriching curriculum to our students, including visits and visitors to expand our knowledge and experiences. This ensures that not only do we learn more, we also remember more. We welcome our families to join us weekly to celebrate our learning and our successes, as well as throughout the year to learn alongside their children.

Our values:

At the very heart of our curriculum are our core values that all are expected to demonstrate in all that they do: being respectful, responsible and resilient. All school staff recognise children when they display these core values. As part of our wider values curriculum, we learn the importance of being aspirational, having focus, being accountable, being honest, cooperating with others, how to persevere and showing kindness.

Each half term, we study a focus value while making links to our learning and our families. We share these values in our assemblies, in our classrooms and around the school, where children are recognised for demonstrating the focus value.

British Values:

Pupils across school are also encouraged to recognise the importance of British Values and how they can help us make greater contributions to our wider world. We explore these values throughout our weekly Picture News, PSHCE/ RSE lessons, discussing relevant worldwide topics and how we can respond as a good British citizen.

Come and join us!

Our doors are open! Our school community are invited to join us at annual events, such as our Christmas Fayre and Summer Gala, and we work hard to advertise these widely. Families are always welcome to drop in, we welcome past pupils returning to share their endeavours with us, and we hope to see you too. Please contact the school office if you would like to drop in and see some of the wonderful things we are working on!
